We have a center peak on the front porch that is going in. We like the look of it, but it is a lot of time consuming work so it is going a bit slower. The siding crew has most of the soffit up and will be starting on the siding soon. The front porch “has to look like a porch” so it is getting tongue and grove Douglas Fir as the surface you walk on. It is something we will have to paint, but since it is under a roof it should last.
